Our cichlid flakes are formulated with an ideal compound of high-quality proteins and vegetable matter, providing superb nutrition and supporting the overall health of cichlid fish species. Made with premium ingredients like salmon, whole herring, and whole shrimp, these cichlid flakes provide a balanced diet, consisting of over 45% protein, along with essential vitamins, trace minerals, and other beneficial nutrients. Excellent as a general purpose food, this cichlid fish food promotes brighter colors, boosts immunity, and can be given to most species in the cichlid family (e.g. angelfish live fish, Lake Malawi cichlids, live green terror cichlid, firemouth cichlid, blue acara, live Jack Dempsey cichlid). For example, you can use our cichlid flakes as blood parrot cichlid food, discus pellets, angelfish food, and much more. Please do not use as Mbuna cichlid food or feed to Saulosi cichlids.

Our Spirulina flakes are an irresistible, top-of-the-line invertebrate food formulated to provide optimal nutrition for a tropical or live freshwater fish tank. Made from vegetable matter and spirulina algae, this flake food consists of over 35% protein, promotes faster growth and breeding of invertebrates, and is fortified with calcium for healthy exoskeleton growth.

Here at Aquatic Arts, we consider the welfare of the live animals we are shipping to be of the foremost importance. This process is much more involved than simply creating a shipping label and affixing it to a box. Depending on the order, it takes from 4 to 7 people to complete this process properly. We check the weather conditions here where they fly out of the Indianapolis UPS facility and the destination for each shipment. We start early each morning and go through a multi-step process to have the day's shipments prepared in time for the UPS pickup. The volume of orders in our system also affects the processing time. Therefore our stated handling time is 1-9 business days.
