We are extremely proud to offer our very own Aquatic Arts Bred line of the Blue Green Emerald Shrimp!

USA bred shrimp right in our facility means healthier shrimp that have never been shipped before and have grown up in our care from hatching. These shrimp will be hardier, will acclimate better to your tank, and you will be more successful with them because they will only go through the stress of shipping one time from their grow out tank to yours! These will be young shrimp, as young shrimp not only ship better, but they will adjust to new water parameters better than adults.

  ***Average purchase size: 1/6 - 3/4 inch (0.4 - 1.9 cm)***

Start your shrimp tank the right way with this great deal!

Add some color and excitement to your aquarium with Blue Green Emerald Shrimp!  These shrimp look great, clean your tank, and are a blast to watch!  Boasting a beautiful deep Blue greenish coloration (especially with dark substrate), this variety is sure to quickly rise in popularity.  Some specimens have a green-blue, or blue-green, or dark as well. (Their coloration does vary greatly).

This strain of Blue Green Emerald Shrimp has been developed from the chocolate line of shrimp. It is normal upon receiving these shrimp for them to appear more blue, please give them a few days to color back up and they should be more green in color once they settle in.

These shrimp are young (around 1/6 inch to 3/4 inch in length), but will grow up to be 1 inch on average as fully grown adults. Young shrimp will ship and acclimate better to your aquarium. Just be weary when adding them to a tank with fish as some fish may find these young shrimp as food.

Some of the younger shrimp have not reached their full potential yet and will become brighter in color as long as they are comfortable in the tank.  Lower intensity lighting and dark substrate also helps them achieve the brightest coloration.
