Details

Lesser Creeping Rush is a very hardy, undemanding stem plant that thrives in low-light, low-tech setups and is great for beginners and experts alike!

Lesser Creeping Rush (Juncus repens) is a very adaptable stem plant that looks great in the midground and background of the planted aquarium. This hardy species produces lateral shoots and can also be propagated through replanting cuttings. It requires only low lighting, but will develop reddish hues under high lighting.

Lesser Creeping Rush can thrive in low-tech setups. This North American native plant can grow from 4 - 12 inches (10 - 25 cm) tall, so it is even versatile as far as its placement in the aquascape. It will benefit from CO2 supplementation, but this is not required.

Like most plants, Lesser Creeping Rush will benefit from supplementation such as Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel, nitrogen, and other plant supplements.

No aquarium plant distributor/nursery/wholesaler/retailer can or will guarantee their plants to be 100% snail free. We can not guarantee our plants will be snail free.
