The Koi Halfmoon Betta is a spectacular marbled variety!
The Koi Halfmoon Betta (Betta splendens) is a very high-grade coloration fish of the classic longfin variety. Specimens of this fish boast a variable mix of most colors and often display 5 or more colors on one fish! While each individual betta is unique and one-of-a-kind, every specimen of this variety is extremely colorful and high quality!
Betta species live in slow or stagnant bodies of water, sometimes with very limited open swimming space. In addition to gills, they possess a labyrinth organ which allows them to breathe atmospheric air in oxygen-poor water Bettas are not particularly fast or active swimmers compared to some other species, but they should not be kept in small jars or bowls, contrary to the beliefs of some. Low water flow is appropriate, but filtration, heating, and the standard practices of keeping any aquarium fish are necessary for long-term care. Aquatic Arts does not endorse the long-term keeping of bettas in confined conditions or aquariums without filtration or heating.

Shipping Schedule for this service
Current Handling Time:
1-9 business days
Here at Aquatic Arts, we consider the welfare of the live animals we are shipping to be of the foremost importance. This process is much more involved than simply creating a shipping label and affixing it to a box. Depending on the order, it takes from 4 to 7 people to complete this process properly. We check the weather conditions here where they fly out of the Indianapolis UPS facility and the destination for each shipment. We start early each morning and go through a multi-step process to have the day's shipments prepared in time for the UPS pickup. The volume of orders in our system also affects the processing time. Therefore our stated handling time is 1-9 business days.
Shipping Rate
Pricing is by size of package needed to fill entire order and distance it must travel. It will be calculated at checkout.
