Aponogeton ulvaceus is a very popular bulb plant that is extremely adaptable and quickly grows to an impressive size!
Aponogeton ulvaceus is a favorite among many aquarists. This bulb plant grows to a very impressive size, and very quickly with good care. It produces dozens of wavy leaves, all of which can easily surpass 12 inches in length. Aponogeton ulvaceus is very hardy and undemanding in care, so it is an excellent plant for beginners and experts alike. As it grows, it produces a bloom stalk that will eventually have a small white flower above the water line. This centerpiece plant is sure to be a focal point in any aquarium
As stated above, Aponogeton ulvaceus is a rather versatile plant that can thrive in almost any light conditions from low to high and does not require CO2 supplementation. It is not particular about water flow as long as extreme conditions are avoided. Like many Aponogeton bulb plants, it can go through resting/dormant periods where it sheds its leaves. The blooming period of this plant can be avoided by trimming back the bloom stalk before it flowers.
Like most plants, Aponogeton ulvaceus will benefit from supplementation such as Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel, Nitrogen and other plant supplements. However, supplementation is not required for this plant to grow and stay healthy.

Shipping Schedule for this service
Current Handling Time:
1-9 business days
Here at Aquatic Arts, we consider the welfare of the live animals we are shipping to be of the foremost importance. This process is much more involved than simply creating a shipping label and affixing it to a box. Depending on the order, it takes from 4 to 7 people to complete this process properly. We check the weather conditions here where they fly out of the Indianapolis UPS facility and the destination for each shipment. We start early each morning and go through a multi-step process to have the day's shipments prepared in time for the UPS pickup. The volume of orders in our system also affects the processing time. Therefore our stated handling time is 1-9 business days.
Shipping Rate
Pricing is by size of package needed to fill entire order and distance it must travel. It will be calculated at checkout.
