This species thrives in heavily structured paludariums with abundant land area, climbing surfaces, botanicals, mosses, and hiding spaces. Cork bark, driftwood, stones, tropical plants, leaf litter, and coconut hides all work exceptionally well.

A shallow freshwater section should always be available, but the enclosure should primarily focus on humid land space rather than deep water. These crabs are skilled climbers and escape artists, so a secure lid is highly recommended.

Bioactive style setups with springtails, mosses, and natural botanicals often produce the best long term results.

White Mandarin Vampire Crabs are omnivorous scavengers and opportunistic hunters. They readily accept high-quality sinking pellets, algae wafers, shrimp foods, frozen foods, freeze-dried insects, bloodworms, vegetables, and decaying plant matter.
