This magnificent moss is now available already attached to Malaysian driftwood!
Taiwan Moss (Taxiphyllum alternans) is a lesser known, but excellent moss for both experts and beginners alike! It is an alternative to Java Moss that is quickly growing in popularity. It looks similar to Java Moss and Willow Moss and requires the same amount of care.
This is a great plant to keep in any freshwater aquarium due to its low lighting requirements. It is a moss that is capable of living in cold water tanks, as well as tropical tanks. It grows into bushy patches that are always a favorite hiding place for shrimp and fish fry.
We definitely foresee this moss becoming one of the most popular plants in the hobby in the near future, and we are pleased to now offer it already attached to an attractive piece of Malaysian driftwood.
This is a very easy plant to keep without much extra care, but unlike like many plants, it does not seem to benefit from supplementation such as Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel, nitrogen, and other plant supplements, although many aquarists have great success with this moss purely through keeping a well-maintained aquarium with no supplementation.
No aquarium plant distributor/nursery/wholesaler/retailer can or will guarantee their plants to be 100% snail free. We can not guarantee our plants will be snail free.

Shipping Schedule for this service
Current Handling Time:
1-9 business days
Here at Aquatic Arts, we consider the welfare of the live animals we are shipping to be of the foremost importance. This process is much more involved than simply creating a shipping label and affixing it to a box. Depending on the order, it takes from 4 to 7 people to complete this process properly. We check the weather conditions here where they fly out of the Indianapolis UPS facility and the destination for each shipment. We start early each morning and go through a multi-step process to have the day's shipments prepared in time for the UPS pickup. The volume of orders in our system also affects the processing time. Therefore our stated handling time is 1-9 business days.
Shipping Rate
Pricing is by size of package needed to fill entire order and distance it must travel. It will be calculated at checkout.
