The Indonesian Dragon Micro Goby is a very rare species that is new to the hobby and perfect for the nano aquarium!

The Indonesian Dragon Micro Goby (Schismatogobius risdawatiae) is a tropical freshwater species that is native to Indonesia. It is very uncommon and was only described a few years ago. Like other members of its genus, it has very impressive color-changing availability. In this particular species, males have red coloration around the abdomen.

The Indonesian  Dragon Micro Goby is will thrive in a planted or heavily decorated aquarium with moderate to high water flow, and it requires soft sand or smooth gravel substrate in which it can bury itself on occasion. This fish should initially be fed the smallest of meaty frozen and live foods, but can often be weaned onto high quality dry foods as well.  While it is not a schooling fish per se, it can easily be kept in groups whose interaction is very entertaining to watch.

It is important to note that this goby is a truly scaleless fish, so please be cautious when using medications in its aquarium.  Some medications require a lower dosage when used with scaleless fish.
