Ultimate Algae Cleaning Crew - 3 Different Types of Snails!

• 5 Zebra Nerite Snails: Nerite Snails are widely known as one of, if not the most, voracious algae-eaters out of any snail. Their main role in the cleaning crew is cleaning off the tough algae on your tank's glass walls that seems impossible to clean off. They also do not reproduce in freshwater, so overpopulation is not a concern with these. Zebra Nerite snails' shells have gold and black zebra-like stripes running all the way down. 
• 3 Mystery Snails: These snails are excellent at cleaning waste and uneaten food before it causes algae to start growing in your tank. They will also completely obliterate thick growths of brown algae. They can grow to over 2 inches in diameter - one of the largest freshwater snails in the aquarium hobby. Not only are they are excellent for keeping your substrate clean, they also eat hair algae and thick growths of brown algae. These are large snails, attaining a maximum size of 3 inches in length, and they feature gorgeous, glossy shells that range in color from chocolate brown to the deepest black.

Warning! Avoid any food product, medication, or plant fertilizer that contains Copper of any form. Copper is toxic to invertebrates. Many commercial fish foods, medications, and plant fertilizers contain copper or more commonly copper sulfate. Always look at the ingredient list for any product going into the aquarium to ensure they are copper free.
