Each type of snail in this combo pack was specially selected to create the ultimate algae-cleaning crew!

This is the perfect combo pack for anyone who faces algae build-up problems on a consistent basis. We have carefully selected the very best algae-eaters out of everything we have to offer. Not only do these snails make up the most efficient algae-cleaning crew possible, but they are also a colorful and fascinating addition to any aquarium community!

We offer two variants of this pack (which can be selected at the top of this page): A pack designed for a 10 to 30 gallon aquarium and a pack designed for a 30 to 55 gallon aquarium.

Included in the 10-30 gallon aquarium pack is the following:

  • 5 Zebra Nerite Snails: Nerite Snails are widely known as one of, if not the most, voracious algae-eaters out of any snail. Their main role in the cleaning crew is cleaning off the tough algae on your tank's glass walls that seems impossible to clean off. They also do not reproduce in freshwater, so overpopulation is not a concern with these. Zebra Nerite snails' shells have gold and black zebra-like stripes running all the way down.
  • 3 Mystery Snails: These snails are excellent at cleaning waste and uneaten food before it causes algae to start growing in your tank. They will also completely obliterate thick growths of brown algae. They can grow to over 2 inches in diameter - one of the largest freshwater snails in the aquarium hobby. This group will include 1 of each of our Golden, Blue, and Black Mystery Snails!
  • 3 Black Devil Snails: Also known as Faunus ater, these snails burrow down into your gravel or other substrate and eat waste that has fallen into the cracks. Not only are they are excellent for keeping your substrate clean, they also eat hair algae and thick growths of brown algae. These are large snails, attaining a maximum size of 3 inches in length, and they feature gorgeous, glossy shells that range in color from chocolate brown to the deepest black.

Always look at the ingredient list for any product going into the aquarium to ensure they are copper free.
