These hardy, low-maintenance bulb plants are unique and beautiful additions to any aquarium or pond! 

Aponogeton bulbs are easy to grow with quality care. The bulbs base must not be completely buried in the substrate or it will rot. In fact, burying just 1/4 of the bulb in the substrate should be sufficient. These bulbs love warmer water and sometimes can quickly deteriorate if the temperature is too low. Finally, it will periodically go through dormant periods where it will shed its leaves for a few weeks, but then grow new leaves. These bulbs will propagates through shoots, and once new growth has roots of its own, it can be cut and replanted. 

Like most plants, these bulb plants have moderate nutrient requirements and will benefit from supplementation such as Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel, Nitrogen and other plant supplements. 

No aquarium plant distributor/nursery/wholesaler/retailer can or will guarantee their plants to be 100% snail free. We can not guarantee our plants will be snail free.

***PLEASE NOTE - This plant will arrive as unsprouted bulbs with no leaves attached. This is normal, and in most cases, new leaves will sprout within a few weeks. Upon arrival, please plant 1/4 of the bulb in substrate. Bulbs will grow without substrate, but it may take longer for it to sprout and grow. If it does not begin to sprout in 30 days, please contact us and we will honor our live arrival guarantee and replace it or credit you!
