Buffers your pH to a neutral 7, where most freshwater aquatic life thrives.

Uses:  Having chronic pH issues, or do you need something to buffer your low KH tank?  Look no farther!  Neutral Regulator™ is extremely easy to use, and works where many other products fail at stabilizing pH.  Rather than constantly adjusting your pH up or down, Neutral Regulator™ buffers your pH to a neutral 7, which is where most aquatic life thrives.  Highly recommended for shrimp tanks and planted tanks.  We use this at Aquatic Arts to buffer the water on all of our holding tanks aside from our high pH systems. Consider using with our other Seachem products!

From the manufacturer:  Neutral Regulator™ adjusts pH to neutral (pH 7.0) from either a low or high pH and maintains it there.  It softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium while removing any chlorine, chloramine, or ammonia.  The use of Neutral Regulator™ makes other conditioning unnecessary.  Contains phosphate buffers and conditioning agents.  Safe for all freshwater fish acclimated to neutral pH.

Directions from the manufacturer:  Use 1 level teaspoon for every 40–80 L (10–20 gallons*) once or twice a month (or as necessary to maintain a pH of 7.0.)  Neutral Regulator™ may be added directly to the aquarium at any time.  Ideally, it should be used when adding or changing water by dissolving in the replacement water.
